In Genetrix, users can input multiple data
sets and data types. The current data types currently include
gene expression,
RNA, µRNA, SNP, DNA methylation and protein data. All of this
data can be viewed individually or as a whole. While setting
one of these data types as the primary data set of interest,
users can perform searches for regions of interest to narrow
their search of interesting genes, SNPs, exons, etc.
Repeated searching and narrowing can lead to additional
datasets. Genetrix allows for the tracking of these subsets.
By studying the relationships between these regions of
interest, combining data from multiple arrays becomes more
manageable.
In addition to supporting most of the
major arrays from Affymetrix, Genetrix also supports
importation of data from Illumina arrays. These include
Infinium DNA methylation data, etc.
Manage and import multiple
data types from various arrays and platforms.
Narrow regions of interest by searching within a set or subset of data types.
