Computer: IBM-PC Compatible¹
Operating System: Windows 7/Vista/XP/Server 2008/Server 2003/2000/NT/98/95²
RAM: 1Gb+ recommended
CPU: 1GHz+ recommended
Hard Disk Space: 680Mb depending on application³
Screen Resolution: 1280 x 1024 minimum
Internet: Broadband connectivity is required for acquiring system and annotation file updates and downloads, sequence analysis and for accessing third party websites for integrated data analysis.

* System requirements do not include requirements for additional programs that may work in tandem with Genetrix, including R, Matlab and MySQL 5.1.
¹ Mac users may run any version of Genetrix using Parallels, Bootcamp, VMWare Fusion or equivalent software in addition to one of the approved Windows-based operating systems.
² A 64-bit version of Windows 7/Vista/XP/Server 2008/Server 2003 is required for Genetrix (x64).
³ Depending on the type of analysis and required annotations, additional hard disk space may be required.
